STUDENT MEDICAL INSURANCE

Part of the mission at Carlow University is to involve students in a process of self-directed, lifelong learning which will free them to think clearly and creatively. Good health and access to adequate medical care is an essential component of a student’s academic success and is essential for the continuance of the lifelong learning process.

In keeping with the mission, Carlow University offers an opportunity for students to purchase health insurance. Carlow purchases a group plan from Highmark; students are encouraged, but not required, to purchase this insurance if they do not have insurance from some other source. Specific information about insurance is sent to each student from the insurance administrator, Hulse/QM.
